The Jean-Pierre Pascault 2024 Prize is awarded to a GFP scientist between the ages of 40 and 50 whose scientific contribution to the field of polymers is particularly noteworthy.
Physical chemist Fouzia Boulmedais and her team have developed significant scientific research in surface functionalization by polyelectrolytes using the layer-by-layer technique, both in fundamental aspects and for biomedical applications, creating antimicrobial surfaces. She also developed a new method of electrodeposition to design enzymatic biosensors.
